‘Message Found in a Copy of “Flatland”‘ by Rudy Rucker
As the title suggests, this is a tribute to Flatland. Rucker’s protagonist goes to London in search of information about Edwin A Abbott and instead finds himself trapped in Flatland itself (it is underneath a restaurant). Luckily the people of Flatland taste like “very moist smoked salmon”. There is maths and weirdness here but not in the quantities one usually expects from Rucker.
