  1. I must admit I’ve been enjoying your reviews of the stories in Red Shift. You almost make me want to read the anthology to see if it’s really that bad. But only “almost”.

  2. The thing is I wouldn’t even say it was particularly bad as original SF anthologies go. (Admittedly this is a bit of a case of damning with faint praise.) No, the real problem is Sarrantonio sets himself such a lofty goal and within this context it is hard not to judge it harshly.
